New Canon Rule❧
Because canon characters are important, we have put in a new rule regarding them. If you're accepted as a canon, you need to come around and post at least once a week unless you have an excuse [The board for posting extended absences can be found HERE. After a week, we'll send an email to you that warns if you do not post within the next week, we will reopen your canon spot.
Why are we doing this? Canons are important, as I've said. They really do help the stories move along and people enjoy writing with them. If you don't think you can play an active canon, then you should probably give up the role to someone who can. If you're having trouble figuring out where to post, please ask any other members if they'd like to rp with you and if they'd help you think of a plot. Staff Promotion❧
Someone is getting promoted! Obsidian has been doing a fantastic job taking care of the adverts board. I've hardly had to worry about it at all. So, because he's been doing so great, we've decided to promote him up to Nobleman! Congratulations, Obsidian! Thank you for working so hard despite how busy you may be.
New Skin Idea❧
As I've told some of you recently, I've decided to make a new skin for the site. We probably won't have it up anytime soon. Designing, coding, and implimenting a new skin takes a lot of time and work, especially when you're not a brand new site.
Since our Victorian theme was mid-tone, and the Fiancee theme is light-tone, I have decided to go with a dark-tone skin! This new skin will feature Undertaker and consist primarily of greys! If you'd like to see the palatte I've chosen, just click HERE. With this new skin change, I'm thinking about changing a lot of things around, so look forward to a crisp new look, coming soon!
New Plot Idea❧
As most of you have probably seen, I recently posted a new mini-plot idea. If you guys haven't read it, you can find the post HERE. If you guys have any suggestions or ideas for more things to happen in this plot, by all means, please PM me or reply to the post with your ideas! I've yet to make the profile for the demon that will play the antagonist, but it will be done within the next few days, so keep an eye out for him! Also, I might consider letting some people play as his lackeys or something to make running the plot a little easier on me [because, as Ethan said, lots of people will want to play in this plot and I might get a little overwhelmed. So, if you have an ideas for that, go ahead and PM me.
On a side note, don't be afraid to come up with your mini-plot ideas that involve lots of characters/chapters. But, before you post your idea to the board, you need to run it by a staff member [preferably me, since I own the site, but if I'm not around, you can tell someone else and they'll let me know on MSN, or you can always just PM me]. As long as we don't think your plot will be troublesome in anyway, we'll most likely accept it and tell you where you can start from there. So don't be shy! If you have ideas, share them!
