Angel, fighting for her life.
Angel, you are fighting for your life Why do you not cry though it hurts? You cannot cry, you are strangled by invisible hands I mourn for you I mourn for your end I wish for it to come soon, my Angel I wish for you to hurt no longer Rolling around without being able to stand and walk That is not a life for such a creature as lovely as you So young, You should be able to scamper around with glee Chase birds and rodents, even bugs would do! But, no…your freedom has been cut short
Angel, you are fighting for your life I will try not to cry as I see you move around A smile escapes from me when I still see your spirit though You are feisty, and you are not ready to give up, not yet You hiss and swat at me, telling me to get away, I smile. I laugh.
Angel, you are fighting for your life You aren’t moving much now The evening is cold, the night doomed to be colder Will your bones freeze solid? Will your heart be frozen over? Will you long for the warmth you once had?
Angel, you are fighting for your life I will see you tomorrow, maybe you’ll still be alive Angel, I do not want you alive, not like this
But if I come and visit you, my Angel And you are no longer with me Though I may cry, I will be happy You will no longer be in pain
Angel, fighting for your life I dedicate this poem to you Let your paws guide you among the stars Let your suffering end
Angel, fighting for her life.
-- PM me if you want to know more about the poem, I just let out a lot of sadness and stuff and don't feel like explaining in the post~
