Name: Maeka Alias: No. 1328, Mae, Black Cat Age: No one knows for sure... Physically, she looks about 10 in her normal form. Gender: No one is ever completely certain... She often associates with female though. She does come in many shapes and sizes and forms though... WHAT'S IT LOOK LIKE? Hair: Unruly black hair, not even touching to her shoulders. She also has a pair of cat ears on top of her head. Eyes: Pure white eyes. A characteristic trait of the blind. Appearance: The appearance of a little child of the age of ten. Attire: She doesn't hold an exact kind of type of clothing that she enjoys wearing. What she usually wears though is what looks like a straitjacket that comes as a part of her seal. IN THE MIND Personality:A "kitten" of sorts, if you will. Maeka is rather curious when it comes to the ways of humans. She loves being pet, loves recieving gifts, and absolutely adores being fawned over. Things she hates? She hates when people try to sneak up on her (especially when she's having a hard time detecting her surroundings. She is blind, you know.), people taking her stuff without asking, and people who are boring. With her seal on, she chooses to remain somewhat silent, only replying with "Haauuuu's", and "Mnyuuu's," and the occasional cat "Nyaaaaa". She also tends to be just a bit clumsy, bumping into things often. She prefers to be near at least one person she doesn't hate, and dislikes being left alone when her seal is on. Just makes one feel vulnerable, you know? This is merely a cover, however, to her true nature. Once her seal is off, she still remains silent, but will occasionally speak in response to someone speaking to her. She also has a thing for tearing things open, apart, things of the like. She can be nice, though. If she gives you anything, or lets you hold her plushie, she probably likes you, and isn't thinking of ripping you apart in any way. How long she doesn't think about it, however... well... you should watch your back. In short, don't underestimate her just because she may seem simple minded on the outside. She's quite the plotter, and could be silently planning your demise. FELINE SUPERIORITY X Seal:When her seal is off, she remains blind, but is allowed access to her claws. Her speed is also increased quite a bit, along with flexibility. She also has rather cat like characteristics. If she removes her own seal, she can only have it off for 24 human hours before it drains most of her energy, locking itself up once more. X Contract:Maeka, like many other demons, is able to contract herself to a human. When contracted, having her seal off does not drain any of her energy, and in exchange, she is a loyal pet toy servant to whomever she is contracted to. She grants them their heart's deepest desire, and in exchange, she claims their soul and their body for a meal once their desire is fulfilled. Maeka is able to contract herself to other beings as well, though the process is a bit different. When contracted to someone other than a human, her seal remains off, but she does not offer to grant their heart's deepest desire. Instead, it's more of her protecting them in exchange for keeping her seal unlocked. Her seals with other beings are often temporary, and not as strong as when they are with a human. If a human attempts to remove her seal without contracting them, it unlocks itself, and she kills them. Simple, right? X Demon Form:Maeka's demon form is that of a large black cat with white eyes and five tails. Around each of the paws is a seal, representing each past contract she has made. X Feline Form: Maeka can turn into a normal household cat. Jet black, pure white eyes, and a little pink ribbon around her neck, which is the ribbon she usually wears on her head. In this form, she can actually be somewhat talkative, in a sense. She can communicate telepathically in this form, which is what she often uses to lure humans into contracting with her. REWIND Overall History: A demon roaming from Master to Master, creating contracts with different humans, being used as a weapon of revenge, the like. Once she grants the wish of whoever she's with, however, her method of "taking her payment", if you will, is to rip her victim's chest open and steal their heart in the most literal of senses. She's roamed around the Earth for quite a while, and has taken many different masters. She usually keeps some sort of momento from each one, ranging from the bow she wears on her head, to the pants she wears. Her most treasured momento would have to be a white cat plushie one of her previous master's wife made for her. Lately, however, she's found a home with Undertaker. One day, dragging in a dead body (that, for the record, she was going to start eating), she met the mysterious Undertaker, and since then, she's found herself coming back again and again for shelter, and more importantly, someone to be around who wasn't a Master of hers. She does more than just hang around with Undertaker, though. At night, she finds herself roaming around the streets, sniffing out food and exciting things. Some of you may be wondering where her name comes from. Her name, "Maeka", wasn't exactly her name at first. Her first Master's wife's name was "Mae Katherine", and was always referred to as such. Maeka was never able to say the full name, so would always only ever say "Maeka". After her first Master and his wife past away, she continued to refer to herself as "Maeka" in her memory. "No. 1328" is tattooed onto her leg by her latest Master (deceased, of course), whose sadistic son had branded it onto her leg. She was his 1328th toy, of course. If we rewind a couple centuries, we see that before she came to Earth from the Underworld, even Maeka had a childhood, if you could even call it that. She lived in a clan of feline demons that had just began to take form. Back then, she chose to exclude herself from the rest of her clan. To live in such an environment began to get get old, and she had heard stories of demons that lived on Earth, eating the souls of humans by contracting to them. She herself wanted to live such a life. She longed to live a life of her own. Holding a small bit of fondness for one of his first creations, Lucifer had her make a deal with him before she went to Earth: She was to accept any contract with her own kind, a demon, if she were not already in one. She has only ever contracted with another demon twice, for she doesn't offer it very often.

If he IS present, often associates with male though. He does come in many shapes and sizes and forms though... WHAT'S IT LOOK LIKE? Hair: Unruly black hair, not even touching to his shoulders. Hee also has a pair of cat ears on top of his head. Eyes: Pure white eyes. A characteristic trait of the blind. Appearance: The appearance of a young boy around the age of 17. IN THE MIND Personality:Unlike the usual Maeka, Akame is talkative, and a bit more sly. He also shows more personality than she does. He also seems to be a much more matured version of her. Even his physical appearance seems to age more. This might reflect that he, as the judgement and self-mechanism in her mind, is the one that gains more knowledge than she normally does. FELINE SUPERIORITY All abilities are shared with Maeka. Unlike Maeka, though, Akame is able to see much more than just the outlines of things. He can see in grey scale, with the exception of the color red. He can also see auras as usual. REWIND Overall History: A form that began as nothing more than a self-defense mechanism in Maeka's mind. For a while, he was just a part of her mind that told her right from wrong, or helped her remember things. Everyone has that. One day, though, one of her Masters decided they didn't like her current form; no, they wanted a little boy. He then manifested himself in that. They are one in the same, but Akame tends to show a different side of her every now and then.

The eldest would probably have seven tails, but Maeka never stayed in Hell long enough to know. She herself has two tails, but only one is ever present at a time. Each of her tails represents a life lived, and a time she has died. When a feline demon from her clan would die, they would ressurect with a new tail and a new personality. In some cases, the new and old personalities will both inhabit the body, in cases like Maeka. As for the genders of her clan, they are determined by the role they play for the rest of the clan. "Females" often were protectors of the home base, and often stayed behind to care for the children. "Males" were the more active hunters, and were the ones that would often go to Earth to contract. This tradition has stopped recently, and most of her clan now stays in hell.
