Character: Beast
Sample Starter
There are moments in life when time seems to slow down-- when you step back and take a look at who you use to be and how you got there. You try to dissect your very existence and you realize your dreams are far beyond your reach.
She awoke in confusion, lost in the sea of forsaken souls that remained unclaimed by a reaper's grace. There was no guidance in this darkness, no one to aid her, and, no family to protect her. The women only thought she knew pain and torment. But the souls around her wailed with a tremendous emotion that bound them to the realm of earth.
Why was she here? Where was 'here'? She didn't realize she was dead-- not at first. The weight of sorrow and agony around her was depressing and overwhelming, it clouded her judgment and memory. It took sometime before the haze over her lifted and slowly memories of her life flooded back to her. She struggled to regain control, fighting against the currant pulling her with the motion of the other souls. The struggle was endless, and she was thrown around the murky darkness until a light glimmered in the distance. There was no concept of time, not in this dark place.
She remembered the fire-- the searing heat that scorched into the heart of her being. There had been so much death-- the lives of those she loved falling around her like their existence had been insignificant.
She had never wanted it to be this way; she had never wanted to follow through on those orders. But the one place Beast had sought solace, the one person who she had trusted most-- he disregarded her concerns.
Was everyone dead...? Her family... Wendy, Dagger-- Joker? The names swirled around her, and she latched onto their recollection with a rush of anger and regret. Joker. She drew strength from his name and memory-- focusing on it to try to picture him. Her memory was faint, but a glimmer was all she needed to spark her desire for life. It would not end like this-- it could not.
...and thus she swam.
Referral: I'm Madam n3n
Note: I'm bringing Beast back as a ghost for now, full of regret and anger.
