Site News ! February 22, 2012 surely as cometh the winter, I know there are spring violets under the snow
Hey guys, that's right! After a very long extended break, I finally got my muse back. I'd like to take this time to say I'm sorry to everyone. I know it was rough around here without me, but I'm really happy to see the site still alive after all this time! It means a lot to me to have been welcomed back so nicely~ Thanks guys. So, to repay you, I'm giving you a few updates and some looksies into the future of the site. So please take the time to read this~
Yep, that's right! February 25th is DFate's first birthday. We've been open for a whole year! Hard to believe huh? Since I sort of didn't know this until a few days ago, we haven't got anything planned yet, but I'm sure we can some up with something fun!
In celebration of the site living for a whole year and beyond, we've slaving away on a brand new, shiny skin for the site. I know a lot of you might be wary about change, but trust me, this skin is sleek, clean, and full of fun doo-dads to play with. I'm working extra hard to make sure this one is the best it can be, and simple for new people to navigate. Would you like to know how this new skin is coming along? Well.. we have about 70% of it done. The only things left to do are mostly aesthetic and the majority of it is coding rather than photoshopping, so it should be up in the next few days! Get ready for a fresh, new look!
To go along with the new skin, I would like to revamp our documentation on the site. This includes things such as the applications, rules, face claims, etc. My plan is that the majority of it will have a post template to look pretty and clean instead of just text on a background. Doing this might take a few weeks, but the end result should be rather pleasing.
Last but not least, I would like to thank all of you who stayed with us and kept the site alive while I was on my hiatus. You're all family to me and I love you! A special thanks go out to my dedicated staff members who, even though I was a lazy bum, still tried their hardest to take care of things. Thank you guys~
