} Forum Rules {
[/size][/center]1} Because of several issues we've had, we now require that people who join be at least 15 years of age.
2} In this group we require you to para-rp. All posts must be well thought out and at least one paragraph (five sentences) in length. More than one paragraph is encouraged.
On the other hand, please try to limit your average post to somewhere around five paragraphs.
3} Try to limit the amount of typos and grammar mistakes as much as possible in your posts. We want to be able to understand what is going on and what you are saying.
4} Don’t spam where it is not welcomed. If spamming is your thing, there is a general talk board at your disposal. Have at it!
5} Respect your fellow role-players. This should go without saying.
6} Signature pictures should be no larger than 500x150. If yours is significantly larger, it will be taken off by an admin.
7} Have fun. Really…that is why we made this forum.
} Character Rules {
[/size][/center]1} If you are a canon character, you must not go out of character on any of the “In Character” boards. There is a reason why they were listed there. If you happen to go out of character frequently on these boards, your application will be up for re-evaluation.
2} If you happen to find yourself at arms with another, PLEASE do not auto. When you auto, you only show others your lack of fighting talent.
3} You may have TWO canons now. BUT, there's a catch. Whatever second canon you choose will only be yours until someone NEW who is interested in playing them applies for that character. If they prove to be good at playing them, then you must relinquish that canon to the new member.
Don't try to fool the staff by pretending you're someone else just so you can have more characters. We can tell.
4} If the character you wanted to be is taken, do not be discouraged! Apply for another character for the time being and wait. You never know, the character you want might open up in the near future.
That said, if you ever grow weary of playing a character and wish to drop it for another, you may do so by contacting a staff member. You will then be asked to audition for the part of the new character that you want.
]5} If you create an OC, that OC may NOT be related (Be it by blood, adoption, or step] to any Cannon without their expressed permission. If it's a cannon that is not yet taken, it is an automatic "No". That way, all the characters can build their own plots without having to work in the histories of a bunch of other OC's. We're also interested in keeping the plot as true to Yana Toboso's vision as possible.
6} If your audition is rejected, don't feel bad. You can always try again. We are looking for good writers that portray their characters well. This adds to the story and makes the plot more believable.
Do not cause drama if your audition is rejected. We are sorry to have hurt your feelings. As I have said, you are more than welcome to try again.
} Posting Rules {
[/size][/center]**Please note, you will not be able to see or post in these sections until after you are accepted.**
As you can see, we have two different In Character categories. I will explain them a little better here!
The category labeled as "In Character" is the category that is used to roleplay anything that's canon. Like, canon time period and setting, etc.
The category labeled as "Other IC" is seperate from the "In Character" category. If you would rather roleplay something that's AU or Alternate Universe, you may. There's also a crack board for anything that.. well.. cracky. Posts in the crack board don't have to be long or detailed and you may act silly.
} Length of Time {
[/size][/center]As they say, nothing lasts forever. We understand that things happen and you may have to leave. You may even forget about the forum or become too busy. So, to be fair, we've set up a few rules:
1} Members that are inactive for more than a month without reason will have their character positions reopened, if they're canons. This gives new, active members a chance to play a canon they desire.
2} Members that ARE NOT canons and have been inactive for more than a month without reason, will have all the open roleplays, with which they play a major role, closed and archived and locked.
3} Unfinished applications that are older than a month will be archived and locked.
4} If you come back after a month and are serious about continuing your role, we will be more than happy to let you! If you previously played a canon and it had since been filled, you will not be given the spot back, but you will be allowed to apply for an OC or a different canon.
} Punishment {
[/size][/center]Breaking the rules will result in you receiving a warning from a staff member.
If you continue to break the rules, you will be subject to banishment. The severity of the situation directly affects how long you will be banned for.
Ignorance to the posted rules is not an excuse.
That said, the forum will continuously grow and as it does, new rules will be added. Make sure to check back frequently for any changes or additions.
